Liverpool: Knowsley Safari Park

Knowsley Safari Park is a drive through animal safari experience just 8 miles from the centre of Liverpool.  Lions, rhino, deer, antelope and baboons can be seen from inside your own car, with some animals getting very close indeed.  A large walk around area, much akin to a regular zoo is also available, where you can see the elephants, giraffe, bug house, children's farm and compare their meerkats!

Amusement rides are available at an extra charge at weekends and school holidays from February half term to October half term.

The park is open all year round although, they will close if the roads are too icy.  If you live close enough their season tickets offer incredible value at the cost of about 2.5 visits you can go all year.

www.knowsleysafariexperience.co.uk is a great source of information and definately worth a visit to find out more about the park,  pricing and directions.
